I tried this according to directions and I was quite surprised at the results. Very little is needed when applying and it seems to tighten and smoothen the facial skin. It has a mellow citrus scent to it that is quite nice. Those who have used astringents to improve the appearance of their facial skin should delve into the components of this serum as it seems to be a combination of an astringent with other additives. Astringents tend to dry out skin and can be detrimental for those who are sensitive to dryness. Overall, I like this serum as it seems to “temporarily” improve facial appearance.

overworked, mid-20s girly with sensitive skin speaking.. if you’re looking for a vitamin c serum, do not purchase if below 10% – you’ll be wasting your money (learned that tip from a facial lady at a spa in LA).. but to continue, i have been using cerave vitamin c serum for the last year. i was never unhappy with it, but i decided to try something different bc i felt like it took to long to absorb into my skin. so i bought this product. just finished my routine, and i am SHOOK. this serum (20% vitamin c plus other goodies) absorbed into my skin almost instantly and the results were exponentially more immediately obvious than cerave ever did!! my skin was brighter (as expected, but exceeding expectations), firmer, and just looked alive for once!! never again will i buy another vitamin c serum. definitely one of my best purchase decisions in general but especially for skin care. go. buy. NOW.

Bought this product for morning routine. I’ve only been using a month now. I just felt like it was time to add a vitamin C. I don’t want to spend a fortune on the other brand so decided to try this first! So far no break outs with my rosacea. It does have a smell, but if u can get past that it’s worth a try than buying the high dollar one!!
