LET YOUR LIGHT SHINE

Have you ever felt like you have something special to offer the world, but you’re not sure how to share it? Maybe you have a unique perspective or a talent that you feel is underutilized. Whatever it is, it’s important to remember that you have a unique light to share with the world, and it’s up to you to let it shine.

One of the first steps to letting your light shine is to get clear on what it is that you want to share. What is it that makes you feel alive and fulfilled? What are your passions and interests? Once you have a clear idea of what it is that you want to share, you can start to figure out how to share it with others.

One way to share your light is through your work. If you have a job that allows you to use your talents and passions, then you are in a great position to let your light shine. However, if your job doesn’t allow you to fully express yourself, there are still ways to let your light shine. Consider finding ways to volunteer your time and skills, or even starting a side hustle that allows you to share your talents and passions with others.

We take knowledge from the book of Mathew 5:14-16 which says 14 “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 “Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead, they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”

That means that as Christians, our light should shine in everything we do and in all aspects of our lives. Another way to let your light shine is through your relationships. Take the time to be present and listen to others and share your insights and experiences with them. You never know how your words or actions may inspire or uplift someone else.

It’s also important to remember that letting your light shine doesn’t mean that you have to be perfect. No one is perfect, and it’s okay to make mistakes. In fact, it’s often through our mistakes and challenges that we learn and grows the most. We have to learn to step out by faith. So don’t be afraid to step out of your comfort zone and try new things, even if you’re not sure you’ll succeed. Martin Luther King said: “Faith is taking the first step even though you can’t see the whole staircase”.

In conclusion, letting your light shine is all about being true to yourself and sharing your unique talents and passions with the world, as the light of Christ shines through you. It may take some experimentation and self-discovery to figure out how to do this, but it’s worth the effort. So don’t be afraid to shine brightly and let your light inspire and uplift others
