Don’t Leak
I use these in my cat’s overnight cage in the basement (not able to train him to a litter box). I use two pads doubled up, just in case, there are a few times there’s been some leakage but 99% of the time they work. I wouldn’t put these on a rug, wood floor, or anywhere you don’t want pee to soak through.They work better than the brand I bought at Walmart which leaked really bad.

Great Product
Holds a lot but I still get a slight urine odor. I like how it absorbs and you cannot see the stain due to the colors of the pad. You can see them underneath so you know when it’s time to throw them out. Great size. I have chi’s that have accidents and one pad can last them a few days. They pee very little, mind you.

Good value for your money
I have 2 Maltese dogs (small breed). I was hesitant about buying these pads because I had tried some other ones before but they were so thin and didn’t hold my dogs pee.I always bought the one from PetSmart but decided to give this a try. The size is exactly 22×22 which is exactly the same size as the pad holders (bases)I have. I have 4 pad bases/holders spread around the house.These hold a lot of pee so even if I go out for a long period of time (4-8 hours) my 2 dogs have plenty of space to pee and poo.The price is very competitive, and I also did the subscribe and save so the cost went down even further because of the extra discount. No bad!Overall, a good pad for small to medium dogs.

Perfect for our Anxious Pitty
Life saving product for my partner and I. Our older dog, about 7, has started to become very anxious when we leave and began having accidents on a carpet in the bedroom. I put one of these on the corner of the carpet, and it has changed my life!!I am not having to clean the carpet every day, the pad absorbs all the pee, and does not leak through to the carpet. Works
My only complaint about these pads is that we have a hard time telling when they need to be changed. Unless they are really wet, you can’t see that they have been used. They are black from the charcoal. And you can’t tell, especially if the area that has been used has dried. Otherwise, they work well, they help with the odor and the dogs use them just as well as they do the white ones.

Pee pads are a godsend
We have two mini dachshunds who are allergic to grass so they use the pads inside. We got a new puppy dachshund. I don’t think it’s possible to train one to go outside and two inside. So the value and absorption make these a fan favorite ❤️ in our home

Color
Overall good product. Just note that if you need to monitor pet health, order the ones with the white pad. I needed to monitor the urine color of a pet with a bladder infection – color of urine & traces of blood. These have a dark gray pad, so you can’t see anything other than it’s wet.Other than that, it appears that it will hold a lot of fluid & I would recommend this product.

Great for my elderly dog!
My dog is elderly and sometimes has accidents if he isn’t taken out every few hours. These pads are great for the days my dog walker can’t make it and I am at work for 8 hours. I find that these are super absorbent as he is an adult dog so he pees a good amount. As long as he pees on the pad, I don’t see any leakage on my floor. I’m very pleased with these.

Holds up well
Our 3 month old yorkie knows exactly where to go to potty on these pads. They are super absorbent and don’t leave a mess underneath. We are able to fold up the pad and move on without any extra mess. Just wish the puppy would quit chewing on them. Good product!

These are fantastic and are actually a value!
Everyday I was having to go through two of the 24×24 pads pushed together to make an area large enough for my dog to be able to easily use the pads. However I came across these and although the price is slightly higher, I only have to use one per day instead of two so for me the value is quite remarkable. They work great and I highly recommend these if you have a dog that’s indoors that can’t always get outside.

Cat owner? Effectiveness depends on application.
These are great at doing what they’re made to do—absorb urine. However, my cat has sharp claws, which poke holes in the pad and lead to the pee leaking out of the pad, so I have to double them up on carpet.However, if you’re just looking to line a hard floor around a litter box, they’re purrrrfect. My cat tends to miss the litter box, so for years I was lining the surrounding area with newspaper, which always led to a disgusting mess. So I got these, which do the trick just fine. They’re easy to fold back up and throw away, leaving no mess at all. They don’t, however, always hold the odor in.The pee pads with the purple bottom are thicker, but they’re also not as wide and more expensive. This is a more cost-effective solution.

Extra Large and Awesome!
I absolutely love the pads. I’ve used a million different sizes and brands, and these are so perfect for my needs. I foster dogs for a rescue organization, so may have untrained dogs in the home. Plus there are times when I need to go out for a period of time and won’t leave any dogs outside. They’ll bark and bother the neighbors, plus we have coyotes and occasionally larger predators which makes it unsafe. That’s where these come in. I place two or three in common areas so the dogs have somewhere to go when we’re out for any reason. They are very sturdy and extremely absorbant, so I never worry about them not keeping the floors dry unless one of the dogs misses the pad. They seem thicker and more substantial than other pads I’ve used, so they don’t move around either. I actually think that they’re significantly superior to any other pad I’ve bought.

Holds a lot of liquid
We have a 4-month-old labrador puppy who we are working on potty training. These puppy pads are a great size and she is able to get most of her urine on the pad each time. I have noticed though that if she pees on the edge of the pad it will go underneath and the entire bottom is saturated. Thankfully this doesn’t happen all of the time due to the good size of the puppy pad.

I didn’t know how important that blue layer was until I didn’t have it!
Ok, these are a basic puppy pad – I find I’m appreciating the size for quick clean up and tossing without a lot of unused area. I didn’t get them reordered on time, so I grabbed some from the local pet store. Ugh! Never again – they were totally white – you’ll know quick if you got the wrong side up! Even with glasses on sometimes it’s hard to tell! I rely on the scent attracting spray – especially if I’m in a hurry!So, yes, I have some larger and some reusables – but overall, I like being able to layer these on the main floor near the door where we take them out. It’s hard to see when they slip over to that nook and get them out if momentarily distracted by other ‘chores’ about the house. This makes it a snap to keep the entry clear, clean and odors under control. They are fairly absorbent … our male tends to get a wet foot which leaves a couple prints compared to another larger size which might leave 1 print.For the value these are my go-to for general use. The washable are great for the crate which doesn’t happen much now, nor can they be torn up by a frustrated pup. Yes, I recommend these.

Either I’m the best dog trainer ever, or these are magic, or a little of both
I just re-wrote my review as I started with about 500 words describing how awesome my pup is.Down to the scenario. 6 month old rescue, never been house broken or trained. She’s like a wild 8 week old, new to the world, but in the body of a 6 month old.Had her for 3 days and was getting frustrated with the 1+ min walks down to the street (I live in a condo and have to hit the elevator down) I knew the process of stopping her mid, and getting down to the street was going to be a massive disconnect.Read the reviews on these, lots of lovers, and lots of haters.Let me start by saying these arrived today at 5pm, and instead of being 1/14 (getting her outside to go 1 and 2) she is 4/5 today on these things with a nice #2 on the pad to end the night.Material is good – pup is about 30lbs and pees about 1/2 cup of volume per go. Each pad I’m trying to get 3 or 4 pees on them before disposing (a #2 I’m tossing regardless) but I think you could push these to maybe 5 attempts given the volume, or about 2 pads a day.0 smell off the pads which is very impressive even when well saturated.No issues with leaks through the bottom.For those new to pads, I have to say don’t expect a tarpaulin, they are more like cheap plastic take out bags, barely any weight to them. A tip is when your dog totally misses the mat at pees 50 feet away , put a few drops of pee on the pad and show them. They will understand!My goal is to get through 1-2 boxes and be done with potty training. Next steps / goals for days 4-7 are hit the pads with +90% accuracy, ensuring rewarding the good potty immediately after it happens, then start taking them down with me on walks and setting up where I want her to go. Then remove the pads all together and teach signaling a button that will play “I need to go potty”

Good pads, great price.
My two dogs are both pad trained and trained to go outside. The dogs know that during the day they can go outside, and that after dark they have to go inside. So needless to say, I use a lot of pads. These are good, if not great, pads. They are the most affordable pads I have found. I have used better pads, but not for the price.

Finally !
The size it need and works well. I use these in my Kitty Litter system. I place a KONE litter box drawstring liner in the litter box, then I carefully place one of these pads inside the plastic liner bag then I carefully apply ARM & HAMMER Extra Strength odor eliminator or the Pet Fresh Capet Odor Eliminator. Either one is a game changer for odor control regardless of what litter you use and the it is good to go for several days. My Cats have a fresh situation to do their business in and it is easy for me to then take the drawstring liner, tie it off to prevent and spillage and off to the garbage container outside. Have tried so many different techniques over the years but this one works best for me and the cats.

Best we’ve used
Puppies are a lot. 5 was more than I bargained for but these pads were a life saver. They held up the best, absorbed the most without dissolving into mush, odors were kept at bay, and puppies didn’t seem drawn to chewing on them like some others we tried. If I had to complain about them I wish they had just a slight bit more weight to them so they stayed down and in place, but that’s nit picking when comparing them to the other brands we tried.

Much better than standard pads
There is almost no odor lingering, after getting these pads for my senior Chihuahua mix on fluid pills. My boy really seems to prefer them, for that reason, even using a pad more than once, instead of just moving on to another adjacent pad. Absorption is better, so I actually use slightly fewer pads than non-charcoal pads.

Let’s be honest, if you are coming to the reviews you are probably going to look at photos of dog pee. Whatever, we’ve all seen it, that’s why we’re here. We were long time purchasers of a more pricey product just through our local Walmart. One week they were out so I took a chance on these. Hands down better product. They absorb, stay dry, no leaks. Will only purchase these from now on!

Decent puppy pads
Great size, thick absorbent pad, and hold fluid well. The backing is not plastic like so I was worried at first as I’ve had others from Amazon that were not waterproof. These ones don’t leak through and work fine! Will order again.

My cat is odd…
My cat, who was adopted at 6 months old from a shelter, will poop in litter but will only pee on a pee pad in a litter box. (I highly recommend trying this method if your cat doesn’t like litter. Of course, after the vet rules out any health issues.) These are wonderful for my Charlie. I change them after every use so I do use a bunch of them. Been doing this for 11 years so he’s a happy boy. I have two boxes for him, just in case. 🙂

Gear for little dogs
I’m coming back to put then on aAuto delivery. They seem to hold up pretty well. And they’re just large enough for their not to be other accidents. I have not had any trouble with it bleeding through into the floor. Even though woman who comes to clean my house, asked me if they were for people instead of animals because they had worked so well.

It’s all up to the dogs to hit the target.
I have two dogs under 20 pounds. One hits the mat where it counts. The other dog is hit or miss making a big mess. It they both use the mat where it counts everything is okay. Good absorption and leak proof when done properly. Good thing there are a lot in the box, because I use a lot of them. I get more for my dollar whether the dogs do it right or not.

They’re ok
The only difference I’ve noticed from regular pads is the color. Which makes it difficult to tell if the pad has been used or not. Compared to normal pads, they’re same size, same protection, same absorption, same non smell. For me it’s hard to tell if my yorkie potties on them because the black color hides the wet look. I have to really get down close and inspect for wetness, because I don’t like dirty pads laying around. It hinders her potty behavior if I can’t tell she went, then she doesn’t get rewarded. I won’t purchase again for that reason.

Good product but hate new packaging
Have used this product for years, and have no complaints about the product itself. The last two boxes I purchased have come packaged differently. Each individual pad is now folded into a much smaller square. The edges now often stick together and make them much difficult to unfold. I have even torn a couple trying to get them unfolded. Still like the product, but wish they had left them folded just in quarters.
