To be more than a Conqueror ,is an extraordinary task. You have to be bold enough to face obstacles head on, fierce enough to dare the adversary , courageous enough to defy the odds and strong enough to stand up, when all you rely on for survival has taken flight and left you stranded and barefooted in the foreign land of “nowhere “with no one on whom to call,
Romans 8:37 says: “We are more than conquerors through him who loved us.” To conquer is to be victorious over an adversary. The word conquer conjures images of war or some form of battle and whether we are aware of it or not ,Christians are in a cosmic war over your soul between God and the devil. This means that the war is not physical it’s happening in the spiritual realm and that’s why Ephesians 6:12 says: 12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Who are the rulers of darkness in this world? Satan and his emissaries? Who is the author of all spiritual wickedness in high places? Satan and his Emissaries. Because we are fighting against spiritual wickedness in high places and not against flesh and blood, we must resort to spiritual weapons in order to fight the enemy.
In life, it’s easy to feel like we’re constantly battling against our circumstances, fighting to stay afloat and keep moving forward. But as a Christian, we have the promise that we are more than conquerors through Christ who loves us. This means that no matter what we face in life, we can come out victorious. God is always with you guiding and protecting you. One thing that can hold us back, is the fear of speaking up. We may worry that our voice won’t be heard or that we’ll be judged for what we say. But God has given each of us a unique voice and perspective, and it’s important to use that to make a positive impact in the world.
Don’t be afraid to cry out and stand up for yourself, even if it feels uncomfortable or scary. You are a child of God, and you are worthy of respect and dignity. It is important not to revisit your past in a negative way, and not to think everything is your fault. As Christians, we are called to forgive ourselves and others, and not hold onto bitterness or regret. You cannot change what has already happened, but you can change your perspective and how you move forward. You are not a failure if you do not solve all your issues on your own. God is there to help you and to provide you with the resources and the support you need. You are not a failure for struggling, and it’s important not to punish yourself for not being great at everything you do.
God has given you unique talents and abilities, and it is important to focus on your strengths and use them for His glory. Don’t be too hard on yourself if you miss a blessing in your situation. Sometimes the blessings come in unexpected ways, and it is important to trust in God’s plan for your life. There’s no need to be ashamed of yourself and spend time on needless worry. God wants you to move forward and to focus on the present and the future. Do not let negativity take over your thoughts or your mind. Focus on the positive, and trust in God’s goodness and His love for you. Do not be afraid to face your fears or rebrand yourself. You have the power to overcome anything, and with God by your side, you can do all things. Your emotions are a gift from God, and He wants you to experience them fully. Remember that you are more than a conqueror, and with God’s help, you can overcome any obstacle in your path.
Isa. 43:2 NLT says:
When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you.
When the three Hebrew boys were thrown in the fiery furnace, the Bible said not even the smell of smoke was on them much more to be burned. In fact ,there was a fourth man in the fire walking with them.
No matter what we face, where we are, in whatever situation, we are guaranteed that we are never alone because the presence of almighty God is with us. Psalm 139: 7-13,NLT say:7 I can never escape from your Spirit!
I can never get away from your presence!
8 If I go up to heaven, you are there;
if I go down to the grave,[a] you are there.
9 If I ride the wings of the morning,
if I dwell by the farthest oceans,
10 even there your hand will guide me,
and your strength will support me.
11 I could ask the darkness to hide me
and the light around me to become night—
12 but even in darkness I cannot hide from you. To you the night shines as bright as day.
Darkness and light are the same to you
Deut31:8 NIV. says: .
8 The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.
No sin of ours and no attempt of the enemy can steal the loving care of God from our lives, and that makes us more than conquerors through Christ who loves us.
Are you doubtful that you’re more than conquerors tonight? I have proof to assure you that you are and if you’re in doubt, as of tonight, that will change. Here are some reasons you can be sure you are more than conquerors:
• We know we are more than conquerors because:
• God is our father, and he has conquered death and the grave.
• We know we are more than conquerors because God is greater than any problem or enemy we might face.
• We know we are more than conquerors because God is all powerful.
• We know we are more than conquerors because one with God is a majority.
• We know we are more than conquerors because God is unconquerable.
• We know we are more than conquerors because God said in Isaiah 54:17:
• No weapon formed against us shall prosper.
• We know we are more than conquerors because God has anointed us and set his seal upon us.
• We know we are more than conquerors because Jesus has overcome the world and because he has overcome the world we also can overcome the world.
• We know we are more than Conquerors because
Neither:
Death nor life nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Rom. 8: 38-39
• And if we are more than conquerors, it means we are champions because a conqueror takes over a place while a champion surpasses all rivals.
And because we are more than conquerors, Satan and his emissaries have to flee.
Because we are more than conquerors, whatever we do will prosper. Deut. 30:9
Because we are more than conquerors we will become lenders and not borrowers. Deut. 28:12- Because we are more than conquerors, we must conquer even though things sometimes seem gloomy and discouraging.
• So, forget fear,
• forget doubts.
• forget the enemies lies.
• Put on the whole armor of God.
• Fight with all your might and defeat the enemy in the name of the Lord our God.
